Before you buy
Is a 40-year-old wine still good to drink?
Often, yes — old wine is gentler and more delicate than young wine, with flavours a new bottle simply can't have. Some bottles are best opened, others are better kept as keepsakes. We tell you honestly which is which before you buy.
What if you don't have the exact year?
We'll show you the closest vintages in the cellar, and we can try to source the exact year for you. Many gifts end up being a bottle from one year either side — the story still lands.
How do old bottles survive shipping?
Padded, upright, in a wooden box, and handed over by courier across the Baltics and Finland. Orders are 18+ and ID may be requested on delivery — full details in our terms. If anything arrives damaged, we replace it or refund it.
Can I see the exact bottle before I buy?
Yes. Every listing is photographed from the actual bottle, and we'll gladly send more photos or a short video on request.
